Yes. Pest prevention may include sealing entry points, removing attractants, reducing food and water sources, improving sanitation, managing exterior conditions, and setting up an ongoing maintenance plan.

Sealing gaps around siding, roofing, vents, crawl spaces, doors, and utility penetrations can also help prevent pests from returning. For larger exterior repairs or building envelope issues, we may coordinate with Washington Construction for siding, crawl space, or structural repairs and Washington Roofing for roofline, flashing, or roofing-related entry points.

In many cases, yes. Treatment methods can often be selected based on the building type, pest issue, and how the space is used. We can explain the process before work begins so staff, visitors, and the public know what to expect.

Yes. Ongoing maintenance can help detect pest activity early, treat problem areas, and reduce the chance of larger infestations. This is especially helpful for high-traffic facilities, food-service areas, storage spaces, and public buildings.

Yes. Some pests can damage insulation, wiring, wood, stored materials, landscaping, roofing areas, and building materials. Addressing pest activity early can help reduce the risk of larger repairs.

Yes. Overgrown vegetation, standing water, mulch buildup, debris, and plants touching the building can create hiding places or access routes for pests. For larger exterior improvements, we may coordinate with Washington Landscaping to help reduce pest-friendly conditions around the property.

Cleanup is not included as part of our pest control services. However, we are happy to give recommendations on how to restore the affected area after the pest issue has been treated.

Washington City Services can also help coordinate follow-up cleanup or repair work after pest control is finished. This may include services such as insulation replacement, droppings cleanup, odor control, damaged material removal, or other restoration work needed to return the space to a cleaner, safer condition.
