Western Washington's freeze-thaw cycles and freezing rain create black-ice hazards that are often more dangerous than snow itself. Our ice-control program combines anti-icing before events with deicing during and after to keep surfaces trafficable. We select granular or liquid products based on pavement temperature, surface type, and environmental sensitivity near landscaping and waterways. Application rates are calibrated to be effective while limiting chloride use and runoff impacts. Treatments are documented with product, rate, and location for your records and permit reporting.
