Gravel Road Grading

What This Service Involves

Unpaved surfaces lose their crown and develop washboarding and potholes under traffic and rain. We grade gravel roads and shoulders back to a proper crown that sheds water to the ditch line instead of trapping it in ruts. Where the surface has thinned, we add and compact aggregate to rebuild the driving surface. Regular grading on a maintenance interval keeps these roads passable and slows the loss of material.

Grading is most effective when the surface holds a little moisture, making late spring and fall ideal for compaction without dust.
