We install and maintain erosion and sediment control measures, including silt fence, wattles, matting, seeding, and inlet protection, to keep disturbed soil in place and sediment out of the storm system. Western Washington's heavy, persistent rain makes bare soil a serious water-quality risk, and state and local rules require documented ESC on public projects and problem slopes. Our crews design controls suited to each site's slope and exposure and maintain them through the wet season until vegetation establishes. Inspections and maintenance are logged to satisfy permit and TESC-plan requirements.
