What This Service Involves

Localized pavement failures spread quickly under Northwest rain if they are not cut back to sound material and rebuilt properly. We square up the failure, remove the compromised asphalt and base, and place hot mix in compacted lifts that bond to the surrounding pavement. Edges are tacked and sealed so water cannot undermine the repair from the joint. The result is a patch that carries traffic loads and blends into the existing roadway.

Our Process

1) Mark and saw-cut the failed area to square edges; 2) Excavate the failed asphalt and repair the base; 3) Tack the edges and place hot mix in lifts; 4) Compact, seal the joints, and restore any markings
