What This Service Involves

After a removal, the remaining stump is a trip hazard, a mowing obstacle, and a barrier to replanting, so our crews grind it well below grade and clean up the site. We locate and protect nearby utilities, irrigation, and hardscape before grinding, then remove grindings to the depth needed for turf, planting soil, or a new tree well. Surface roots that heave sidewalks or paths can be ground as part of the same mobilization. Sites are backfilled and left ready for restoration or replacement planting per your direction. All work is documented and coordinated with your grounds and forestry staff.
