Where Efficiency Meets Reliability.
Installation of regulatory stop signs to MUTCD placement and height specifications for safe intersection control.
We install R1-1 stop signs at the locations and heights specified by the MUTCD and your local traffic authority, using high-intensity prismatic sheeting for maximum night visibility. Placement follows lateral offset and mounting-height requirements so the sign is conspicuous without creating a hazard. When a stop control is being added or upgraded, we coordinate with your engineering staff on the supporting traffic order or study. Breakaway or fixed posts are selected based on the roadside environment and clear-zone considerations.
Delivers regulatory signage that meets MUTCD placement and visibility rules; improves nighttime conspicuity with prismatic sheeting; coordinates with the governing traffic order or study; selects breakaway posts where clear-zone standards apply
1) Verify approved location, height, and offset with the traffic authority; 2) Select sheeting grade and post type for the roadside setting; 3) Complete utility locates and set the post foundation; 4) Mount the sign and document placement for the sign log
Number and spacing of intersections treated; post foundation and soil conditions; breakaway versus fixed hardware; traffic control during installation; supplemental plaques or dual mounting
Stop sign installations are handled throughout the year, with foundation work scheduled around drier soil conditions when possible.
