What This Service Involves

Our crews form, pour, and finish structural and non-structural flatwork that meets city standard plans and WSDOT specifications. Every placement is built on a compacted, properly graded subbase to resist the freeze-thaw cycling and saturated soils common to the Puget Sound region. Finishes are matched to the surrounding right-of-way, whether broom-textured for slip resistance or detectable-warning compliant at pedestrian crossings. We coordinate inspections, testing, and traffic control so the work integrates cleanly with adjacent public infrastructure.

Our Process

1) Review plan sheets and mark utilities before saw-cutting existing panels; 2) Excavate, grade, and compact the subbase to specified density; 3) Set forms, reinforcement, and control joints to line and grade; 4) Place, finish, cure, and restore the site with as-built documentation

Total square footage and slab thickness; subgrade condition and required import material; reinforcement, dowels, and jointing details; traffic control and pedestrian detour requirements; disposal of demolished concrete and prevailing-wage labor rates

Best Time of Year

Late spring through early fall offers the most reliable curing windows, though heated blankets and accelerators allow winter placements when a project cannot wait.
